Both cameras. One split-screen view.

A demonstration of the layout. No camera access.

You host. Your friend joins.

  1. Open Ome.tv with DuoMeet.

Install the extension on desktop Chrome, open Ome.tv, and start a duo from the DuoMeet panel.

  2. Send your friend the invitation.

Copy the link from the panel. Your friend opens it on a phone or computer and allows their camera and microphone. They don’t need the extension.

  3. Show up together.

DuoMeet combines both camera feeds and mixes the audio locally. The person you meet sees the split-screen view.

Open the full link your friend sent. Every invitation points to its host’s session; this page isn’t a meeting room.

Camera and connection

You choose when to allow camera and microphone access. DuoMeet uses WebRTC with PeerJS for the connection. Some networks need a third-party relay to connect.

A personal project, free to use.

DuoMeet is built and maintained by Aadi Chandraya. It isn’t affiliated with Ome.tv. Your use of Ome.tv remains subject to that service’s rules.
